We use a valuation assessment to forecast the future residual value of a new truck model even before it is launched on the market.
To this end, we analyze all aspects that influence residual value, define scenarios and derive specific recommendations. In addition to vehicle-specific criteria such as technical data, suitability for everyday use, safety, quality, etc., the launch strategy is also examined. This includes criteria such as price-performance ratio, maintenance costs and sales planning. All criteria are compared and evaluated in a benchmarking process with vehicles from the competition. In addition, a typical depreciation pattern is determined on the basis of reference vehicles and the future residual value development is calculated using the established performance in the competitive environment.
